NUH Food Pack Distribution

This year has been a tumultuous season for many, and especially so for those at the frontlines battling the global coronavirus pandemic. To show support for healthcare workers, NUSS pledged to deliver four weeks’ worth of free lunch bento packs to the accident and emergency department at the National University Hospital.

Around 60 A&E staff received delicious comfort food such as prawn aglio olio, tandoori chicken and biryani, which were specially prepared by the chefs at Kent Ridge Guild House. NUSS President Mr Eddie Lee explained, “Our healthcare workers are our unsung heroes in times like these. We hope that this small gesture will show our appreciation to healthcare professionals for their hard work, determination and dedication to their patients.”

Even as the situation is constantly evolving, NUSS would like to express its gratitude towards all healthcare workers. We hope that this simple act provides momentary comfort during this trying period.
