The best way to begin your speaking experience is to talk about a subject you know well – yourself! On the last weekend of the school holidays on 30 May, over 50 children signed up for NUSS Learning Journey e-workshop on public speaking. Through the guidance of Ms Keen Yeen, President of NUSS Toastmasters Club, our young participants were led through the elements of effective public speaking and given impromptu exercises to build their confidence in speaking to a group. No doubt that these useful skills would come in handy as they head back to school the following week!
