Football fever hit an all-time high at NUSS as World Cup fans streamed into the bars at all three Guild Houses each evening to cheer their hearts out, alongside fellow lovers of the game from 20 November to 18 December 2022.
There were plenty of large screens ranging from The Chill-Lab’s massive 85-inch flat screen TV as well as huge projector screens at Kent Ridge Guild House’s Ridge Bar and Suntec City Guild House’s The Bar which provided the perfect viewing experience to soak in the World Cup matches, telecast live from Doha, Qatar.
Besides rallying with other football fans to cheer at successful goals and boo at the yellow cards, members enjoyed special promotions such as a World Cup platter ($38.00) which included delicious bites such as Prawn Vadai, Chicken Yakitori, Chicken Wings, and selected alcoholic beverages at $8.00.
