A swinging good time

Over 60 golfers from the NUSS Golf Section retreated to the idyllic island of Desaru, Malaysia for golf in November 2022. Despite the light rain that preceded the game, the golfers tee-ed off with much enthusiasm and anticipation.

Over a span of two days, the golfers enjoyed rounds of golf at the Valley Course and Ocean Course at The ELS Club located just beside the shoreline. The Ocean Course made for an enjoyable and memorable round of game play on the second day with its stunning backdrop of the coast. The golfers adjourned to the popular Hard Rock Hotel for their accommodation in the evening.

Long-time golf section member Mr Rupert Yeo shared that this overseas trip was his first in three years due to the pandemic. He said: “After a long break from golf, the thing about muscle memory is that you will still swing like how you did before, for good and for bad.”
