Exploring the Wonders of Labuan Bajo: A Journey Through Nature, Adventure, and Culture

NUSS offers an exclusive array of events, activities, and curated tours to beautiful destinations for our members. Recently, some of our members embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Labuan Bajo, a charming fishing village that serves as the gateway to the renowned Komodo Island.

The group indulged in the opulence of the Ayana Resort, basking in the stunning views of the sea and surrounding islands. Their adventure began with a sunset cruise to Kalong Island, where they witnessed hundreds of bats soaring across the evening sky. The night ended on a lively note, with the group dancing to ’80s hits on their return to the resort.

On the second day, the group visited Padar Island’s rugged terrain. They hiked up 800 steps to take breath-taking views of the island’s deep bays and rolling hills. Afterward, they visited the famous Pink Beach, where they swam and snorkelled amidst vibrant coral reefs and marine life.

The journey continued to Komodo Island, where members were lucky enough to spot several juvenile Komodo dragons on a guided hike despite it being mating season. The group enjoyed fantastic photo opportunities with these rare creatures.

On their final day, they swam in the serene waters of Rangko Cave, a sea cave filled with stalagmites, before ending the trip with a visit to a local village for a traditional dance ceremony. The entire experience, complemented by consistently delicious meals, was a perfect blend of nature, culture, and adventure, creating lasting memories.
