The NUSS 39th Golf Annual Dinner, held on 9 July 2025 at Seletar Country Club, brought together nearly 100 golfers and guests for an evening that celebrated camaraderie, competition, and the enduring spirit of the NUSS Golf Section.
The day’s tournament featured friendly competition across divisions—Best Gross, Best Nett, Men’s, Senior, Ladies—and novelty challenge Nearest to Pin. More than a showcase of skill, the event reflected the strong bonds within the Golf Section, which now boasts over 700 members.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Golf Section Convenor Mr Simon Er, followed by an address by NUSS President Mr Tong Hsien-Hui, who was joined by NUSS Past Presidents Mr Lai Kim Seng and Mr Johnny Tan. Mr Tong reflected on the Section’s vibrant growth and key milestones — including the record-setting $777,000 raised at the NUSS 70th Anniversary Charity Golf.
Tokens were given to golfers who took part in the tournament for the very first time.
