The NUSS Golf Section organises regular overseas and local trips, offering members the chance to explore new courses while strengthening camaraderie. The most recent overseas outing took place in June 2025 at Guilin, China, where members enjoyed both challenging play and breathtaking scenery.
In mid-August, 42 golfers from the Section crossed the Causeway for a 2D1N golfing getaway filled with camaraderie, competition, and laughter.
The day began at dawn as members gathered at Kent Ridge Guild House before departing together. After a quick breakfast stop, the group arrived at the scenic Horizon Hills Golf Club, where the rolling fairways and morning sun framed a relaxed social round. It was less about the scorecards and more about the joy of playing alongside fellow enthusiasts.
Following a rewarding day on the greens, participants enjoyed a free and easy evening — a chance to unwind, explore, and reconnect over stories of the game.
By the next morning, the mood shifted from leisurely to competitive as golfers teed off at the striking Forest City Golf Resort. Playing under the Stableford format, friendly rivalry sparked energy across the course, keeping everyone engaged right up to the final putt. The trip concluded with a celebratory lunch and prize presentation, where the top performers were recognised:
- 1st Place: Lee Kok Onn
- 2nd Place: Chong Ser Jin
- 3rd Place: Daniel Ng Choon Beng
- 4th Place: Chang Chien Hsien Tsung
- 5th Place: Tan Yan Kiat
Beyond the swings, drives, and putts, this trip was ultimately about connection — members forging new friendships, deepening bonds, and creating memories that will carry onto the fairways of future NUSS golfing adventures.
