On Saturday, 4 October 2025, the Della & Seng Gee Guild Hall at NUSS came alive with song and celebration as Golden Vibes 2025 unfolded to a full house. Presented by the NUSS Music Section in partnership with Keppel Club, the annual showcase once again proved how live music brings people together in friendship and joy.
Hosted by Convenor Agnes Ng and Deputy Convenor Angeline Kim-Kyna Tan, the event opened with a warm welcome from Ms Serene Gan, Deputy Chairperson of the NUSS Cultural Sub-Committee, and Mr Eric Tan, Vice President of Keppel Club, who highlighted the spirit of collaboration behind the occasion.
The Divas – Agnes and Angeline – set the tone with crowd-pleasing hits such as Smooth Operator and ABBA classics, while The Keppelites charmed with soulful ballads and Cantopop favourites. A highlight of the afternoon came when Singapore music icon Vernon Cornelius joined the stage, thrilling guests with rock-and-roll favourites.
The energy soared as JAM Band from the NUSS Music Section took over with retro pop, disco, and Latin jazz numbers, getting everyone dancing and singing along. Lucky draws and light refreshments added to the convivial atmosphere, before both bands came together for a rousing finale of We Are the World—a fitting symbol of unity and friendship.
Filled with laughter, nostalgia, and community spirit, Golden Vibes 2025 once again proved that music connects hearts and creates memories that last long after the final note.
