Christmas holds a unique charm at every NUSS Guild House, and Kent Ridge Guild House is no exception. Decked out with fairy lights and lush green Christmas garlands, the lobby promises to be a delightful spectacle, featuring a resplendent Christmas tree aglow with festive radiance.
Standing at almost 5.5 metres (18 feet), this resplendent icon embodies the festive season. Bedecked with a lavish array of golden tinsel, vibrant baubles, and other sparkling embellishments, it is the prime photo backdrop for countless families and friends who gather at the Guild House during this time.
A Starry Christmas
Join us on 3 December 2023 to partake in the merrymaking with the Christmas Light-Up. A highly anticipated yearly tradition, it packs loads of fun and festive activities for all from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. There will be plenty of carolling by the NUSS Choir, games and more for the whole family, while we await the dazzling light-up of the Christmas tree.
What’s more, there will be a Children’s Best-dressed Contest in the theme of Starry Christmas. It is a wonderful opportunity for juniors to join the ranks of the glitterati.
Lastly, no Christmas event is complete without jolly Saint Nicholas! So, of course, Santa Claus will be making an appearance to spread more cheer and merriment. Be ready to whip out your cell phone to grab a shot or two, as there will be plenty of insta-worthy moments to be captured!

Traditional Christmas meals like turkey, for example, are laboriously prepared on that day because of their meaning and the historic significance. For an unexpected twist on the classic favourite, try our Tandoori Roast Turkey served with onion raita, stir-fried capsicums, roasted potatoes with Indian spices and butter masala sauce!
