On 21st July 2023, members and guests of the NUSS Golf Section gathered with much excitement at the Tanah Merah Country Club for the 37th Annual Golf Tournament. With a total of 118 avid golfers in attendance, the event promised to be a memorable day filled with friendly competition and camaraderie.
After putting their skills to the test at the picturesque Garden Course of the club, Mr Chua Choon Giam secured the coveted title of Annual Champion, while Mr Melvin Chan was awarded the Best Gross title.
After a few gratifying rounds of golf, the participants and guests were treated to a delightful dinner held within Tanah Merah Country Club. The evening emanated a delightful atmosphere as members joyfully reunited with old friends, savoured delectable food and drinks, and were serenaded by the melodious tunes of an NUSS band.
As the evening’s festivities drew to a close, the winners of various categories were called up to the stage, where they received their prizes during the eagerly anticipated prize presentation ceremony. Additionally, five players were awarded the novelty prize of being “Nearest to Pin” and lucky draw prizes were given out to 20 lucky winners that evening.
